We work so we would see a day where water-borne illnesses would not cause death; so women and children do not have to walk miles to collect contaminated water; so every major city has a continuous supply of clean water; so the 97 million people without access would have clean drinking water.
The Carry the Water 5k was a well-organized event that promoted wellness and united people from a multitude of backgrounds toward the common goal of providing clean water to those in need.
I felt honored to participate in the 5K for Carry the Water. I was moved by the participants and the amount of love that was shown for India. It was a great experience, and I’m excited about next year!
I loved seeing so many people coming together for an event, and to know it was for a great cause makes the feeling even better. I’ve run a lot of races in my life, but my favorite are the ones where I feel a warm presence like you do in a home. And I got to see that at the Carry the Water 5K run.
Volunteering for Carry the Water 5k was a fun experience! I would totally do it again and loved that our whole family could participate and help make change in India.
Just wanted to say a big thanks for organizing such a wonderful event. I really loved it. I am from India and this was my first run in the US and I am happy to start it.
I want to give a huge shout out to Carry the Water because the 5k was sooo well run!
While I was in India I felt the supernatural presence of the Holy Spirit nonstop. As soon as we arrived, I knew that this decision to join GHI was going to change my life.
GHI was pretty amazing in teaching me how to use prayer and experiences to shape my way of thinking. If there’s ever a problem, let Jesus handle it, and they were right. I was scared to fundraise for my trip, but God provided!
The 5k got us the exposure we were looking for, and definitely the cause you’re working for is admirable.
